A new phase has begun at fjPTC Aug 30, 2009
By now you should see that a $2.00 Lifetime Premium Membership is no longer available. Be thankful I am still able to provide a Lifetime Membership at a very reasonable price. I have added a $2.00 monthly membership for those members still testing the waters. I want every member to be happy so if you are not please contact me. From now on the news section will not be updated. Our forum fjNGA will be used so I can minimize duplication work. If you are not a member at fjNGA then you should be. About the new phase at fjPTC. We are moving from a period of focus that has been on members to a focus of getting advertisers. Too some people there is no difference because advertisers are members looking at other member advertisements. That is true. My concern will be about members that are clickers and not really looking with interest at other member advertisements. It has always been my objective to look after preferred members needing a better advertising medium. That objective has not changed. Please follow our forum for more information that will help you better understand how we all need to work together to make fjPTC the premium location for advertising your online needs. Jack

fjPTC wants to be your premium site for advertising. How will this happen? I want to better understand your advertising needs. Obviously if you want to be successful online in generating some cash flow you need to advertise. Category feature implemented Aug 20, 2009
New functionality was added to the View Ads page. Your ads will be grouped within a category section based on the type of link you are advertising. This was done to plan for the future so a long list of advertisements could be more manageable. The category choice is done in the back office by admin. Links that are not assigned a category will be listed at the bottom of the list. All you have to do is click a category link and that list can be expanded or colapsed. Cool eh! Plus, notice the total number of links indicated at the top and the sub-totals for the individual categories. This is another unique feature of fjPTC and there are more coming.

Please make a point of reading the latest news on the site as well as checking the FAQ sestion.
By now you should be aware that NewGenerationAdvertising.info is online. It is your support forum plus much more. I will be spending a lot more time agressively adding valuable content on that site. Last night I got banned from EMS, again. This time there was no reason given. My gut feeling is that my questions upset the owner. Its water under the bridge. Besides, it has given me more energy to produce a site that is more valuable in helping all members. I ask that you take the time to signup for NewGenerationAdvertising.info
Last point. fjPTC and NewGenerationAdvertising will be getting a major facelift. The too sites will have a common theme. I hope to have it all inplace for the official launch schedule around the time we reach a 100 Lifetime Premium Membership count. The count is more than 50 now.

If you have been tracking this thread you should be aware of the challenge I face in the PTC market. I will continue to work hard to make fjPTC unique and hopefully a viable alternative to existing PTC programs. I feel that I have reached a significant milestone here today. I responded to requests by members to consider lowering the minimum cashout and that is what I have done. After looking at many competing programs and most do allow instant payout for pennies it is just not feasible for fjPTC. The math doesn't add up for a startup site with a long term goal. As a compromise, the payout is now at $1.25 with no payment processing fees to the members. This applies for both PayPal and AlertPay.
I have initiated communication with LibertyReserve and a decision will be made soon on the value of using this payment processor.

Keep in mind that fjPTC is a new kid on the block. The traffic today exceeded many other PTC sites that have been fully operational for much longer time.
The number of new users was a record high.
The number of ads available to viewers exceeded many other sites that are more than 30 times bigger than fjPTC
The average number of ads for free members was 20 and for Premium members it was 39 ads.
The minimum compensation was 10 points, the average was $.0025 and a couple of ads were available at $.01 Now that beats a lot of other more mature sites that are only offering 1 point or $.0001 for compensation to members.
I feel it is important to stress these compensation values when making a comparison to other PTC programs but that is only one part of the equation. Theres more advertising value coming.
Now I want to Thank VictorX for the feedback about the lengthy text message on the main page. It has been my plan all along to have more graphics on the main page. The important text message will be relocated around the same time that the Terms of Service and Policies get finalized.

Temporary interruption of service Jul 01, 2009
Please accept my apology for the temporary interruption of service this moring. At approximately 10:00 AM AST the hosting company decided to suspend my account due to a performance issue on a database. The database at fault was not related to fjPTC.com but since it was on the same hosting account the admin at the hosting company decided to disable the account. There was no impact on the database related to fjPTC so your account was not affected in any way. The issue was resolve and the site was back up at aproximately 11:20 AM AST. Corrective action has been implemented to avoid a similar problem and a monitoring process is being implemented to avoid a similar incident in the future. I hope you understand what has happen and because I know the impact it may have had on you, I will add 1000 points to everyones account. I only ask that you use the points to setup some advertising for yourself. In my opinion using fjPTC New Generation Advertising is most beneficial when you setup advertising.
